Attendance at meetings is encouraged but not required. Meetings are a great place to learn about what's happening within and around the network as well as get support from other members. Non-members are welcome to join a meeting to check us out!
A typical agenda for a meeting may include:
- Introductions
- Presentation or field trip by a member organization
- Pitch Your Project: members can share about a project idea and get suggestions, feedback, and possibly identify partners from member organizations.
- Problem Solving: time to discuss any issues, troubles or concerns regarding work or projects with other members
- Round Table: opportunity for members to share what the organization is doing as well as future projects and plans.
We often have presentations from member organizations and at every meeting there is the option for members to participate in Pitch Your Project or Problem Solving. Pitch Your Project give members time to share about a project idea they have and to get feedback from members. Problem Solving gives members time to discuss with the other members about issues, troubles, questions or concerns they have regarding their work. Both PowerPoint and verbal presentations are welcome.
